The Living Word

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

One day, the Lord gave me a vision.

I saw the pages of an open book. The letters on each page were glowing, and as I looked closer, I realized they were alive. They looked like molten lava—living fire flowing through every word.

Then, the fire began to pour out from the pages of the book. It reached my feet and flowed through my entire body, like fire filling my bones.

Then I heard these words:

"My Word is not written with ink, but with My Spirit."

That moment forever changed the way I see Scripture.

God's Word is not merely information recorded on paper. It is living, Spirit-breathed, and filled with His life and power. Every page carries His wisdom, His healing, His truth, and His presence.

This painting is my attempt to capture that vision—to portray the living fire of God's Word.

The Bible nourishes our souls in a way nothing else can. It strengthens us, renews us, gives us wisdom, and transforms us from the inside out.

Perhaps that is why we often face resistance when we open it. Distraction, weariness, wandering thoughts, and every imaginable interruption seem to appear just when we desire to spend time in Scripture.

The enemy fears believers who are filled with God's Word, because when His truth takes root within us, it becomes like fire flowing from our mouths as we speak His promises.

Jesus said:

"The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life."
— John 6:63

The prophet Jeremiah wrote:

"Is not My Word like fire," declares the Lord, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?"
— Jeremiah 23:29

And again:

"His Word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones. I grew weary of holding it in; indeed, I could not."
— Jeremiah 20:9

My prayer is that this painting will awaken a fresh hunger for God's Word—not merely to read it, but to encounter the living Christ through it. May His Spirit breathe life into every page, fill your heart with holy fire, and remind you that His Word is still alive, still speaking, and still transforming lives today.
