About the Painting

Rest

"In quietness and trust is your strength."
Isaiah 30:15

Some paintings begin with an idea.

Others begin with a whisper.

As this image came alive in my heart, I sensed Jesus gently saying, "This is where you begin."

Not by striving.
Not by carrying every burden on your own.
But by resting in Me.

This painting is a reminder that true strength is not found in constant effort, but in learning to trust the One who holds all things together. In His presence we find peace, clarity, healing, and renewed strength for every season.

Jesus invites us:

"Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
— Matthew 11:28

My prayer is that this artwork will fill your home with a gentle reminder that you never have to carry life's burdens alone. His peace is greater than our fears, and when we choose to rest in Him, we discover that the battle was never ours to fight.

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."
Exodus 14:14
